Revert "Reading min and max values from the rated files exposed by hwmon" This reverts commit 484b9b37530a52f10a606abff23b345a4ec6ab2a. Reason for revert: <Rated values exposed by hwmon can be inadequate for MinValue/MaxValue sensor properties. Values read from power_rated_max hwmon file can be lower than maximal possible power peak for PSU.> Change-Id: I7e7537f9a309e8256cabc31f1b9115affb357d9d Signed-off-by: Agata Wiatrowska <agata.wiatrowska@intel.com>
dbus-sensors is a collection of sensor applications that provide the xyz.openbmc_project.Sensor collection of interfaces. They read sensor values from hwmon, d-bus, or direct driver access to provide readings. Some advance non-sensor features such as fan presence, pwm control, and automatic cpu detection (x86) are also supported.
runtime re-configurable from d-bus (entity-manager or the like)
isolated: each sensor type is isolated into its own daemon, so a bug in one sensor is unlikely to affect another, and single sensor modifications are possible
async single-threaded: uses sdbusplus/asio bindings
multiple data inputs: hwmon, d-bus, direct driver access
