Add check for hwmon directory existence

For the power supplies, if a power supply is not present, the hwmon
subdirectory will not exist. Add in a check for directory existence to
avoid a termination.

To Build

To build this package, do the following steps:

    1. ./bootstrap.sh
    2. ./configure ${CONFIGURE_FLAGS}
    3. make

To full clean the repository again run `./bootstrap.sh clean`.
